Big Booze Up Battersea
22 Jul 23The Mason’s Arms, a local Battersea Pub
The Mason’s arms, which is situated in a 19th century grade II listed building, is a proud representative of the Craft Beer industry and the iconic chain Fuller, Smith and Turner.
Twenty-three taps, many rotating beers, traditional pub food, pub quiz, live music and more makes it one of the most vibrant spots in the area. More than anything, as a pub, we love providing with a wide range of beer from all over the world. But we would be no where without our talented local producers that have decided to join us to celebrate summer together.
Meet the Battersea booze family!
MONDO BREWING
Based on Steward’s Street, with a recent Pizza and beer spot opening in borough market, Mondo is one of those owned by brewers, founded by brewers, ran by brewers' breweries.
“Proud of our roots, be they the modern, hop-forward styles of our friends on the other side of the pond, the purity and tradition of our German brewers, or the sense of adventure that has taken our founders from America via Europe and Japan to South West London.”
If you’re around the Mason’s you might be familiar with some bad boys called Road Soda and Dennis Hopper, as well as a unique batch of Kerran’s Kingdom brewed with Captain Kerran, our manager.

DISTORTION BREWING
Further down Portslade Road, you might spot Distortion’s taproom. How do you spot it? Six Big Serving Tanks behind the bar, where beer is served fresh the brewery, that sits directly behind.
For Distortion, like many, it all started with a trip in America and discovering craft beer over there, this made owner Andy North create Distortion in 2020.
They specialise in Pale Ales, Hazy IPAs and Porters.

BATTERSEA BREWERY
If you like stopping by Arches Lane after a walk along the Thames, you might have, and if not, should, stop by Battersea Brewery’s taproom.
Opened in 2018, Steve created his brewery where his roots are: Southwest London. After years of running pub in London, he went all the way to New Zealand and discovered the craft scene there. He decided to come home and brought with him a team of talented brewers.
The way they brew their beer? Straightforward, simple but efficient. Some Hazy Pales, Sours (and a beautiful Saison). Had on to the taps some guest beer in the taproom and you got yourself a lovely
spot right by the Power Station

DOGHOUSE DISTILLERY
Created in 2016 and based on Broughton Street, Doghouse Distillery’s crew is rock n roll, and their distilling pure as possible, as making their own spirit from scratch. Such as Renegade Gin and Chilli Bacon Baller Vodka, which you might have ran across these flavourful spirits all over London.
And why Doghouse? “Doghouse” to us reflects an underlying vibe of good times, passion and innovation, with a hint of rebellion. If you enjoy a drink or two then it’s likely you have spent some of your life ‘in the Doghouse’, and if you come on a night out with us, you’re certainly going to end up there!”
No wonder why their spirit tastes a bit... rebellious
